Faith has this gorgeous dress to wear for a wedding. It is not just a regular cut and sew kind of hemming job. There is a stiff material called horsehair underneath. Horsehair gives nice structure on a dress. So to keep that structure after cutting the dress to the desired length the horsehair is sewn back into the dress.
